- Provide and improve our logistics services

- Process shipping and quote information
- Send important service notifications or updates
Legal basis: the steps needed before and during a contract with you (article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the website working (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
04Who processes it for us
These providers process data on our instructions, under data processing agreements:
- Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage, EU data centres) for the website and the enquiries you send
- Resend (EU region) to send the confirmation of your enquiry and our internal notifications
- Cal.com to book a call, when you choose that option
- PostHog (EU) for anonymous page-view counts, see below
- Microsoft 365 for our email
05How we store it
All information is stored securely using trusted tools and access is strictly limited to authorized personnel. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and, when you become a customer, for the duration of our relationship plus the legal retention period. Anonymous page-view counts are kept for 12 months.
06Cookies and analytics
This website sets no tracking cookies. We count page views and contact-form steps with PostHog, hosted in the EU, without cookies, without your IP address and without a profile of you. The booking calendar (Cal.com) sets its own cookies only while you use it.
07Your rights
You have full control over your personal data. You may request to view, update, or delete your information at any time by contacting us at info@oceanquestlogistics.com.
You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interest, ask for your data in a portable format, or lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
