Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy provides you with more information regarding the collection, communication, transfer and use (“processing”) of the personal data you share with us, as well as your rights.
01Who are we?
“We”, “us” or “our” means Ocean Quest Logistics BV, with registered office at Molenbergstraat 10, box 25, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium (company number BE 0804.904.119). We shall be considered the data controller with respect to the personal data we collect within the framework of your use of our website and your contact with us.

02Which personal data do we collect?
- Contact details: if you use the contact form, you will be asked to provide your name, e-mail address and company, and your telephone number if you want us to call you. Please do not enter sensitive information such as health information, information relating to criminal convictions, or bank account numbers.
- Enquiry details: your message, the services you are interested in, any files you attach, how you want us to follow up and, if you book a call, the time of the call.
- Usage information: pages visited, the page you arrived on, referral source and campaign details, browser type, device type and country. When you send an enquiry, we save how you found us with it. To prevent spam, we also keep a scrambled code of your IP address.
Your name, e-mail address and message are needed to respond to your request. Without them, we cannot reply. All other information is optional.
03Why do we use your personal data?
Responding to your request: if you use the contact form, we use your personal data to respond to your request, either by e-mail or by telephone.

Supporting and improving the website: understanding which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries, and monitoring the security and availability of our website.

If the legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before the withdrawal of your consent. If the legal basis is our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing.
04How long do we keep your personal data?
Your personal data will be kept for no longer than is necessary to fulfil a specific purpose. Enquiries are kept as long as there is contact between you and us and, if you become a customer, for the duration of our relationship and the legal retention period after it. Website statistics are kept for 12 months.
We are, however, entitled to retain your personal data if this is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to bring a legal claim or to defend ourselves against such a claim, or for reasons of evidence.
05Who do we share your personal data with?
In order to provide our website and services, we work with service providers to process and store your personal data. We use the following service providers:
- Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage);
- Resend (sending e-mails about your enquiry);
- Microsoft 365 (e-mail);
- Twenty (customer relationship management);
- Cal.com (booking a call);
- PostHog (website statistics).
If you accept marketing cookies, Meta and LinkedIn may collect personal data about your visit. For that collection they act as joint controllers with us, and their own privacy policies apply to what they do with it afterwards.
We may need to provide access to your data for legal purposes. In such case we will be obliged to comply. We do not sell, trade or otherwise commercialise your personal data.
06Transfer of personal data outside the EEA
Some information we collect about you may be processed by partners outside of the European Economic Area. In that case, we provide for appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.
07Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy;
- have incorrect or incomplete personal data corrected;
- have your personal data erased;
- restrict the processing of your personal data;
- object to the processing, including for direct marketing purposes;
- receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form;
- withdraw your consent at any time. For cookies, you can do this via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please send us a request at hello@oceanquestlogistics.com. We will respond without unreasonable delay and in any event within one month of receipt.
08Right to lodge a complaint

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, such as encryption and access controls.
